Safety and Education

ELDER Demolition, Inc. employs a full time Safety Coordinator.  Travis Stone works hard to keep all employee certification updated.  We are also looking to continually expand the knowledge and safety of employees with new certification classes.  Daily job site visits keep all Project Manager and Foreman proactive in their efforts to keep their project safe and running smoothly.

Superintendents and Project Managers have current 40 hour Hazwoper Certification and experience working with companies specializing in Hazardous Clean up. We have gained experience in demolishing Chemical Plants, Paper Mills, and Hazardous buildings with chemical and environmental hazards.

Foreman and Lead-men have Asbestos and Lead Awareness training.  We are working on completing 40 Hr OSHA Safety, Harness and Lanyard, Forklift, Confined Space and First Aid certification classes.  Respirator, Hearing, and Medical Surveillance and Drug Testing require annual updating by our Hard working Safety Staff.  We have a monthly Foreman meeting that emphasizes safety and organizes individual schedules for education and certification.

Operators and Laborers have a minimum of Asbestos and Lead Awareness training.  Daily tailgate meetings are held as a constant reminder to all that Safety is #1.  Education and Experience is constantly affirmed to all our employees at all levels.
